It's finally happening. I'm in the final stages of opening a martial arts school in central va! The only thing that will stand in the way is if there is some really ugly thing on the lease that we just can live with and then only if the managment office wouldn't then modify it. That isn't likely, so here comes the big career change!!!!!

There have been several folks interested in the subscription based site, which is where this site is headed. At first, I had virtually no replies at all and was going to just close it; however, that has changed. Anyone I previously replied to and said I was not going to pursue it is welcome to donate at this time by clicking the donate button on the left. Looks like we're in business. I'm currently working on a number of improvements. When the site roles out, it will have a whole new look and feel. Be patient, that will take some time. In the mean time, moneys are going toward a good cause. They are helping me offset costs of web hosting and internet connection services. I just want to let those of you who have contributed know that I appreciate it very much. Those folks should have access to all the currently available features. - Gary

As of 1 September 2006: this site is currently being converted to a subscription-based web site in order to generate the needed capital to give it a facelift providing a modern, interractive, commercial quality site that will contain features useful to this group. This was a difficult decission and I attemtpted to get feedback with only 3 responding out of hundreds. Therefore, the decision was made to either close down the web site permanently because I have no time for it as it is, or require a fee to get it right - I don't like doing things half way.

The fee will be somewhere between $25 and $60 per year. Ultimately, the price will be determined based on the number of members that respond positively to a direct email notification. In the meantime while the site is in transition, please be patient or, optionally, subscribe now. To do this, go to one of the donation link buttons on this page. As I am converting the page to subscription, there will be fewer areas open to the general TASEagles population. Ultimately, non-subscribers will be limited to the home page.

The good news is, after I have heard from everyone and have enough committed subscribers, work will begin on a very nice site with lots of resources. Please see more details in the previous post below. NOTE: As subscribers, you will be offered direct input into the design of the look and feel of the site. I will be creating a private Yahoo Group or Google Forum and automatically enroll subscribers. Don't worry, you won't be inundated with forum mail unless you specifically change your settings to receive all emails. This forum will be THE method of putting your two cents worth in on what the site might look like, what features and resources it might contain, and amount of security and exclusivity. These will be suggestions. I'll still have last say on the final product.
